Singer/ Rap Artist/ Song Writer and Sound Engineer. GeliBean, is an multi talented Artist bringing a unique taste, displaying wide variety of flavours through her banging double bass lines to her harmonic flow and melodies. Challenging stereotypes and breaking the mold, this 38 year old Canadian, First Nation artist has been able to capture her fans and audience, promoting healing through the arts like music and sharing her experiences.

As a first generation to the effects of the Residential School Genocide (A dark history of Canada) GeliBean's resilience shines through her music bringing knowledge and awareness. Her passion to express herself through this art form, started when she was a high risk teen living in the inner city streets of Edmonton. Listening to Artist like 2Pac and Bone Thugs n' Harmony rap about their struggles and systematic poverty,  influenced her style of music. At the age of 17 she found herself at the ihuman youth society (A non-profit art studio). Given the opportunity to learn sound engineering with on the job training and improving on her beat making skills. GeliBean has co-produced numerous up and coming hiphop artist while creating her own content, she has facilitated healing through hiphop workshops all over Western Canada, Sharing her story and performing at Conferences and festivals, inspiring the youth with her creative expressions. 

GeliBean has motivated and encouraged her listeners, how she has been able to overcome some of the most incredible life altering situations, that not many would be able to endure using music as outlet.
